In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Gautier Gators (Gautier, MS), by a margin of 47-43.
The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Wayne County got by North Pike (Summit, MS), 65-32, in a non-league outing.
The Gators now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Pearl River Central for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Gautier will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 50-17 non-league win over Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
