Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 56-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hinsdale South upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL) to play the Mustangs in a West Suburban - Gold bout on Friday, December 1. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Downers Grove South won 66-24 in their recent non-league bout against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

Next up, the Raiders play the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Thursday, November 30. Glenbard South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 69-45 non-league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL).
