California High School Basketball - Whittier can't hold off Glendale

The Glendale Nitros basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Whittier Cardinals to 56 in the Nitros non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Nitros now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patriot for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 29. Glendale will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-42 non-league loss to Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Pomona nudged Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA), 46-30, in a non-league contest.
