Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Grayling Vikings (Grayling, MI), 78-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Petoskey upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Northmen host Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Grand Ledge won 62-43 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern (Lansing, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Grayling will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Ironmen come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 50-41 non-league win over Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI).
