The Gunter Tigers basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Pilot Point Bearcats to 24 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon Trail for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Gunter will meet a Trail Blazers team coming off a 77-56 non-league loss to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 1-8.

The Bearcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Gainesville ran past Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX), 92-35, in a non-league contest.
