The Lafayette County Cougars basketball team (Stamps, AR), was nudged 64-59 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Harmony Grove Hornets (Camden, AR)
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Star City for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 30. Harmony Grove will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-54 non-league loss to McGehee (McGehee, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR). The Lions come into the 1A Region 7 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Mount Ida was nudged by Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR), 57-33, in a non-league battle.
