The Houston Academy Raiders basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Slocomb Red Tops to 39 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kinston for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Houston Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Opp (Opp, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.

The Red Tops (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Wicksburg was routed by Long (Skipperville, AL), 47-39, in a non-league contest.
