Lake Holcombe Chieftains (Holcombe, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles (Hayward, WI), 80-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Holcombe upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Cadott (Cadott, WI) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Cadott won 54-52 in their recent non-league bout against Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Flambeau Falcons (Tony, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Lac Courte Oreilles will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to Prentice (Prentice, WI).
