The Lyford Bulldogs basketball team (Lyford, TX), was overwhelmed 67-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX)
The Tarpons now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 30.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial trounced Lopez (Brownsville, TX), 48-45, in a non-league battle.
