The Mantachie Mustangs basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Thrasher Rebels to 68 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saltillo for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Mantachie will battle a Tigers team coming off a 69-65 league loss to Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.

The Rebels (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Site (New Site, MS). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, New Site edged Wheeler (Wheeler, MS), 63-57, in a non-league contest.
