With the victory, Pearland upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Oilers host South Houston (South Houston, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 7-3. South Houston won 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Manvel will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 65-50 league win over Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX).
