Virginia High School Basketball - McLean overwhelms West Springfield

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) and the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), saw McLean's basketball squad wallop West Springfield by a tally of 68-45.

With the victory, McLean improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Centreville (Clifton, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. West Springfield will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
