The Winneconne Wolves basketball team scored 73 points and held the host North Fond du Lac Orioles to 57 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Winneconne will meet a Zephyrs team coming off a 74-67 non-league win over Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Zephyrs record now stands at 1-1.
The Orioles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lomira (Lomira, WI). The Lions enter the Flyway contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Lomira was outscored by Kewaskum (Kewaskum, WI), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
