The Southern Trojans basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Portland Christian Eagles to 67 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brown for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Southern will meet a Bears team coming off a 72-67 non-league win over Louisville Saints HomeSchool (Louisville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Doss (Louisville, KY). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
