The Simeon Wolverines basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Thornwood Thunderbirds to 43 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Simeon will battle a Hawks team coming off a 51-45 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
The Thunderbirds (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Falcons come into the Southland contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Thornridge dropped by Lockport (Lockport, IL), 81-37, in a non-league contest.
