Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID), 40-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eagle upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Owyhee (Meridian, ID) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Spartans play the Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Minico will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
