With the victory, Chester improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Oakwood (Oakwood, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Oakwood won 61-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Centerville (Groveton, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Wells Pirates (Wells, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 27 battle, on Tuesday, December 5. Kennard will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
