Virginia High School Basketball - Courtland trounced by Riverbend

The Riverbend Bears routed the visiting Courtland Cougars basketball team by a final score of 60-23 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 2. Riverbend will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Trailblazers enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 47-40 non-league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).

With the defeat, Courtland moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to face the Fighting Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, December 1. The Fighting Hornets enter the game with a record of 1-0. Orange County won 63-34 in their recent non-league game against Madison County (Madison, VA)
