Indiana High School Basketball - Cowan fells Union

Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Union Rockets (Modoc, IN), 41-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Cowan upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Blackhawks host Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Hagerstown lost 54-28 in their recent non-league bout against Morristown (Morristown, IN)

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles (Cambridge City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 53-18 non-league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).
