    • Ohio High School Basketball - Port Clinton tipped by Danbury

    November 28, 2023: Lakeside, OH 43440

    The Danbury Lakers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Port Clinton Redskins to 48 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Lakers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell-Loudon for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Thursday, November 30. Danbury will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 51-7 non-league win over North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-0.

    The Redskins (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sandusky (Sandusky, OH). The Blue Streaks enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Sandusky was nudged by Huron (Huron, OH), 55-47, in a non-league contest.
