The Oskaloosa Indians basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Fairfield Trojans to 29 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pella Christian for a Little Hawkeye contest on Friday, December 1. Oskaloosa will battle a Eagles team coming off a 52-35 non-league loss to Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds come into the Southeast contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Fort Madison triumphed over Davis County (Bloomfield, IA), 47-37, in a non-league contest.
