The Straughn Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Florala Wildcats to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ariton for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30.

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Geneva (Geneva, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Geneva ran past Carroll (Ozark, AL), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
