Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND), 56-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Turtle Mountain upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Braves host Standing Rock (Fort Yates, ND) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bison play the Belfield Bantams (Belfield, ND) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Hazen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bantams go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 51-16 league win over Beach (Beach, ND).
