    The Indian Valley Braves basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting St. Clairsville Red Devils to 39 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.

    The Braves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Philadelphia for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Indian Valley will battle a Quakers team coming off a 48-31 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Quakers record now stands at 1-1.

    The Red Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Purple Riders come into the Buckeye 8 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Martins Ferry was routed by Marietta (Marietta, OH), 61-33, in a non-league contest.
