Texas High School Basketball - Jefferson can't hold off Loretto

The Loretto Angels basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Jefferson Silver Foxes to 35 in the Angels non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Angels now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Loretto will battle a Warriors team coming off a 87-15 non-league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.

The Silver Foxes (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Parkland was nudged by El Paso (El Paso, TX), 74-16, in a non-league contest.
