Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Willows Academy Eagles (Des Plaines, IL), 62-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Latin upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Romans travel to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Saint Viator won 57-49 in their recent non-league bout against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Willows Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 59-30 non-league loss to Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL).
