Mississippi High School Basketball - Wheeler knocked off by New Site

The New Site Royals basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Wheeler Eagles to 48 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Royals now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thrasher for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. New Site will meet a Rebels team coming off a 60-48 non-league loss to Mantachie (Mantachie, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 3-4.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Bearcats enter the 1A Region 1 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Baldwyn ran past Falkner (Falkner, MS), 51-42, in a non-league contest.
