The Oakton Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials to 20 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Oakton will battle a Vikings team coming off a 41-18 non-league loss to Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
The Colonials (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against John Champe (Aldie, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, John Champe triumphed over Justice (Falls Church, VA), 46-44, in a non-league contest.
