Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) and the visiting Rider Raiders (Wichita Falls, TX), saw Weatherford's basketball squad hold off Rider by a tally of 44-38.
With the victory, Weatherford improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Kangaroos travel to Godley (Godley, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Godley won 46-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Millsap (Millsap, TX)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Rider will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 48-37 non-league win over Bowie (Bowie, TX).
