The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD), 48-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, The Academy of the Holy Cross upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tartans travel to Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the play the Seton Conquistadors (Manassas, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Conquistadors come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 42-39 league win over Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).
