In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Topsail Pirates basketball team scored a good 32-18 triumph over the Dixon Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 1. Topsail will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 52-14 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
With the defeat, Dixon moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 6. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 1-3.
