Indiana High School Basketball - Northeastern fells Jay County

November 28, 2023: Fountain City, IN 47341

Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 36-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northeastern upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Union City (Union City, IN) to clash with the Indians in a bout on Wednesday, November 29. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Union City lost 50-7 in their recent league bout against Northeastern (Fountain City, IN)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Jay County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
