The Academic Magnet Raptors basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Cross Trojans to 26 in the Raptors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Raptors now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burke for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Academic Magnet will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-28 non-league win over Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics (North Charleston, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Timberland was defeated by Cane Bay (Summerville, SC), 68-23, in a non-league contest.
