In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) basketball squad nipped the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), by a margin of 65-58.

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Mountain Ridge got by Prescott (Prescott, AZ), 55-44, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Flagstaff for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1.
