The Browne Bruins basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Vista Grande Spartans to 38 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Ridge for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Browne will meet a Mountain Lions team coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 0-1.

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Prospectors enter the contest with a 0-2 record.
