Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Torres Toros (Madera, CA), 36-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buhach Colony upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Thunder host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Escalon lost 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA)

Next up, the Toros play the Los Banos Tigers (Los Banos, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Torres will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
