Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA), 70-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chico upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Marysville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 61-23 non-league loss to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA).
