California High School Basketball - The Nueva School can't hold off Crystal Springs Uplands

The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons basketball team scored 40 points and held the host The Nueva School Mavericks to 37 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gryphons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Shasta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Crystal Springs Uplands will battle a Black Bears team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Black Bears record now stands at 2-0.

The Mavericks (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Mountain View Academy (Mountain View, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
