The Harlan Falcons basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting DRW College Prep Cheetahs to 31 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Science Academy-Southwest for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Harlan will battle a Huskies team coming off a 95-13 non-league loss to Curie (Chicago, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
The Cheetahs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Noble Street College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Golden Tigers enter the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Noble Street College Prep was defeated by Kelly (Chicago, IL), 26-18, in a non-league contest.
