North Carolina High School Basketball - East Surry can't hold off Oak Grove

The Oak Grove Grizzlies basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting East Surry Cardinals to 47 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reagan for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 29. Oak Grove will battle a Raiders team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, North Iredell edged West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 56-51, in a non-league contest.
