North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech ripped by West Mecklenburg

The West Mecklenburg Hawks basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Highland Tech Rams to 24 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. West Mecklenburg will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 60-55 non-league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-1.

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Bradford Prep triumphed over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 69-21, in a non-league contest.
