Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), 50-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Zion Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mighty Warriors travel to Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC) to play the Holy Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Holy Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Hornets play the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Hillside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 60-59 non-league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
