West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 59-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Stanly upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Colts travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to play the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the bout with a record of 2-1. South Stanly lost 57-54 in their recent non-league bout against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Tigers play the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Mount Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
