The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Garfield Community Learning Center Golden Rams (Akron, OH) and the visiting West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH), observed Garfield Community Learning Center's basketball team knock off West Branch by a score of 49-40.

The Golden Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hoover (North Canton, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Warriors now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 2.
