The Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) basketball edged the visiting Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL), 59-58 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield Central for a SouthWest Prairie bout on Tuesday, December 2. Oswego will play a Wildcats team coming off a 55-33 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The J-Hawks come into the Northern Illinois 10 test with a 1-2 record.
