Hawaii High School Basketball - Moanalua nips Hawaii Prep

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Moanalua Menehune basketball team scored a close 51-44 triumph over the Hawaii Prep Ka Makani.
The Menehune (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Kamehameha Hawai'i was nudged by Punahou (Honolulu, HI), 47-42, in a non-league match.
The Ka Makani now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maryknoll for a non-league match on Saturday, November 29. Hawaii Prep will face a Spartans squad coming off a 51-43 non-league win over Moanalua (Honolulu, HI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
