The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball squad (Kent, OH), was crushed 77-51 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH)

With the victory, Jackson advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Polar Bears host Hoover (North Canton, OH) to meet the Vikings in a Federal battle on Friday, December 12. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Rough Riders now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stow-Munroe Falls for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 5.
