Tennessee High School Basketball - Shelbyville Central thwarted by Lipscomb Academy

The Lipscomb Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Paul W. Bryant for a non-league game on Saturday, November 29. Lipscomb Academy will confront a Stampede team coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN). The Stampede record now stands at 4-5.
The Golden Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Ezell-Harding Christian was defeated by Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN), 54-44, in a non-league outing.
