Arizona High School Basketball - Willow Canyon holds off Mesa

November 28, 2025: Surprise, AZ 85388

The Willow Canyon Wildcats basketball squad scored 81 points and held the visiting Mesa Jackrabbits to 75 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ) in a 5A Northwest Valley game, on Tuesday, December 2. Willow Canyon will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 83-39 league loss to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ).

With the loss, Mesa falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Jackrabbits host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Badgers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 3. The Badgers come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Tucson High Magnet School lost 61-57 in their recent non-league outing against Basha (Chandler, AZ)
