In Friday's non-league contest, the host Douglass Trojans basketball team scored a good 53-39 triumph over the Grace Prep Lions.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Argyle topped Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 51-35, in a non-league match.

The Lions now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Grace Prep will face a Eagles squad coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
